Yoworld Jobs

Today I'm going to talk about Jobs and Visiting Friends.  On the same place where you go to work at the Factory, there is a link to jobs.  It will say that you need 100 energy to start working the jobs.  You get this energy by opening the gifts you receive on "coin runs".  First I'm going to explain visiting friends and then I'll explain jobs.

You can visit up to 10 visitors and more if they visit you and you visit them back.  You can visit anyone on your list of friends.  There are two ways to visit them. 1)  Click on their image or go to the buddy list and click on them. Wither they are online or not, you will find a bring pink and purple package.  You will click on the package and you will find another box plus a coin.  Click on both of them.  In the 2nd box you will get either a chest or a key.  The key goes to the chest.  You don't have to put them in your room, but click on the special box where you find inventory.

Each Season Yoworld will introduce different colored chests and keys.  I'll show you pictures of what is being given out in the current chests and some stuff I've gotten in the past.  If you don't want the item you can give them to friends or sell them for 25 coins.  Some of these items become valuable and can be sold for much more than 25 coins.

Once you have visited your friends, you can do jobs.

You don't have to do this every day.  To tell the truth, I rarely do it.  That is why I have so much energy.  When I'm low on coins, I'll go and do a few jobs.  It's all up to you!!!

Now I'm going to tell you about doing jobs.  To the right of the Factory link is the job.  Once you have refilled your energy, you can click on jobs.  Here there are different activities to get coins.

Today I'm choosing Animal Rescue.

Now you can choose to do another job or go home.  I'm going home....
Next time I'm going to tell you about visiting friends.

YoWorld Dictionary

YoLanguage: Your Own Yoworld  Dictionary

When I began playing, I was rather unsure on how to talk. Most of the users slowly learn all the abbreviation,
but some of these really need an explanation. Communication plays a very important role in any social game (actually, any social interaction!) so knowing the obscure online games speech is mostly needed. In order to help you, we made a list of most of the widely-used words we usually encounter in Yoworld  (this is both for English speaking users and foreign users).
  • Noob: usually, it means “Newbie” “New to the game” or “Dummy”. On Yoworld  it usually refers to people who don’t go around with great dresses (which show one person’s wealth) or to ones who have less than 1 Jade badge.
  • obo: stands for “Or best offer”, usually used after a price of an item. The highest bidder wins the item
  • ono: “or nearest offer”
  • nfs: Not for sale
  • Res / Reserve: starting price of an item in an auction. Example: if I want to sell a Firebreathing Dragon and say it has a reserve of 10000 coins, I won’t give it away for less than that. So starting bid price is the reserve price the auctioneer states.
  • wtt: Want to trade
  • wtb: Want to buy
  • wts: Want to sell
  • 08 item, 09 item, 10 item: Refers to the year on which the item was released (2008, 2009, 2010)
  • G4g: gift for gift. Send a gift to the user who says this and receive one back. High chance for scams.
  • Ttt: Tick tac toe
  • Rps: Rock paper scissors
  • max: (i.e. can you “max” me?) to get the maximum amount of coins per day from playing and winning games like Rock paper scissors and/or Tic tac toe
  • max 4 max: to help each other “max” or get the maximum amount of coins per day from playing and winning games like Rock paper scissors and/or Tic tac toe
  • Cr: Coins run. Means somebody sent you a message to receive coins (usable only on the Myspace platform)
  • Runner: Refers to a user that throws high offers in auctions just to leave after. Can also refer to an auctioneer who doesen’t give the items.
  • Poofed: Disappeared, refers usually to event hosts who disappear.
  • FS: for sale
  • Wb: Welcome back or Whiteboard
  • Np: no problem
  • Dw: don’t worry
  • Tbh: to be honest
  • Btw: by the way
  • Yobwabies: people who make characters and, to show they speak as babies, fill everything with ws ws ws and more ws!
  • yadda: Instead of the usual @#*! it’s the word that Yoworld  swear filter substitutes to harsh words. If you see glyaddaes it’s usually glasses: yes, the filter enjoys banning the wrong words
  • omg: oh my god
  • hm: How much
  • ikr: I know, right?
  • nty: no, thank you.
  • wtg: way to go
  • gj: good job
  • gd: good deal
  • lol: laugh out load
  • rofl: rolling on the floor laughing
  • lmao: laughing my a** off
Thanks to the site, Yorehab, for this detailed list of abbreviations.

Welcome to As Yoworld Turns

As Yoworld Turns is a play on the name of a Soap Opera, As the World Turns.

I decided to create this blog because I meet some many people who don't know how to navigate Yoworld. How to make money without begging and more.  I love to meet new people in Yoworld and I love to help people out but, I hate when people ask me for things.  I am very generous but I'm not going to buy a stranger hair and give them yocash.  The reality is that I rarely have yocash.

So instead of bugging people for money, I'm going to give a list of what to do to get coins, level up and more.  This is the basic page in Yoworld.  It doesn't matter what room you are in, this is what the page will look like.

Let's focus on the Top Line First:

Every day you give out Free Gifts.  The Chest that you can give depends on your level.  I'm at level 233 so I can give the Orange Chest.

After you have given out your gifts, done about 2 times a day.  You click on Inbox.

Here you will get the gifts that your Yobuddies have given you.  I'll talk about Yobuddies another time.

Click on the Star and you get paid.

Click on Each Chest.

There are 4 Sapphire Coin Chests.  Click Select All.  Now remember that the color chests depends on the level of your Yobuddies.  Then you will see a sign that says open more.  You repeat this till it says done.  I usually do this about once a week.  That is why there are so many chests.  Just because I have over 200 buddies doesn't mean they all give me gifts everyday.  Some people aren't playing the game any more.  I'll devote a blog post on making Yoworld Friends/Buddies another time.

Now you have given and received gifts.  The next thing you need to do is visit the Factory.

The 2nd Line tells what is happening in your account.  The First item is how much yocoins you have.  Then yocash (which you have to buy from Yoworld) Your level, mine is 233 and then there is a thing that looks like a thunder bolt.  Click on the Thunder Bolt and you have two choices.  The Factory and Jobs.  You can visit the factory every 5 hours.  You have to have 100 energy to work.  The right side are jobs.  I'll talk about jobs the next time.

Click on Factory when you have 100 energy and it will take you to Bob's Factory.  This is one way of getting there.  The other way is on the Yoworld Map.

Click on the Star and you get paid.

Between gifting and receiving gifts and going to Bob's Factory should get you on the right path.  I'll talk about jobs another time.
